About Climpact Climpact — Charting the Landscape of Climate Litigation Impacts — is a research project building the first interdisciplinary framework and open-access database to measure how climate litigation drives real change. Beyond verdicts and headlines, it traces the concrete impact of climate cases worldwide — across law, policy, business and society. A team of legal scholars, sociologists and economists analyses the same body of some 500 cases through their three disciplines at once, so each case is read for its legal, social and economic effects together rather than in isolation. The result is a public, open-access database and a shared analytical framework for understanding what climate litigation actually changes — for courts and lawmakers, for companies and communities. Climpact is a Starting Grant funded under the FIS 3 (Fondo Italiano per la Scienza) call and hosted at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, led by Principal Investigator Giuseppe Naglieri.
