New Monograph "Contenzioso climatico e diritti umani. Itinerario globale attorno al sindacato giurisdizionale sugli obblighi di mitigazione di Stati e imprese"

We are thrilled to announce the publication of a new monograph by the Climpact PI, Dr. Giuseppe Naglieri, published by Giappichelli in its "Temi e problemi di diritto comparato" series.

The book explores this shift by starting with cases brought against states before national courts. It then turns to the newer and far less settled wave of cases against transnational corporations, and ends with the 2024-2025 rulings from regional and international courts, which wrote into international law what national judgments had been working out for years.

The picture that results is of a legal process that is both far-reaching and precarious, often resisted, and never a straight line. How far it will hold is, for now, an open question.
