Climpact Conversations is coming on 1 October
2 June 2026
On 1 October, CLIMPACT launches the Conversations — our podcast on climate litigation and its impact across law and society. The first episode introduces the project: its questions, its cases, and…
Climate litigation moves quickly, and much of the thinking that shapes it happens in conversation — between the litigators who build the cases, the scholars who study them, and the policymakers who absorb or resist their consequences. On 1 October, CLIMPACT brings those conversations into the open with the launch of the Conversation Series, our podcast on climate litigation and the marks it leaves on law and society.
The first episode sets out what CLIMPACT is and why we built it: the questions driving the project, the cases at its core, and what it means to measure the impact of climate litigation rather than simply record it. From there the Series settles into a roughly monthly rhythm, each episode given over to a single conversation — sometimes a case and what followed from it, sometimes a methodological problem, sometimes the view from someone working at the front line of this field.
Guests will come from across the community of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers the project works with.
The Conversation Series sits alongside CLIMPACT Radar and the Monitor Series as part of how we share the project's work as it develops. The first episode lands on 1 October, with new episodes to follow roughly every month.
