Beyond research: building ecosystems of knowledge and practice

Climpact's impact extends far beyond producing academic outputs. We're building an interconnected ecosystem of activities designed to translate our research into actionable knowledge, foster dialogue across stakeholders, and create enduring infrastructure for climate litigation scholarship.

We’ll advance scholarly debate on climate litigation impacts by creating spaces where the global academic community engages with methodologies, exchanges findings, challenges assumptions, and collectively pushes the field forward. We’ll strengthen our own research through continuous dialogue with leading experts across disciplines and jurisdictions. We’ll ensure research reaches and informs the communities shaping climate litigation—practitioners, policymakers, corporate actors, and civil society. And we’ll build lasting networks that sustain collaboration and knowledge production beyond any single project's timeline. Through our workshops & conferences, publications, forums, conversations, fellowships, and monitoring activities, Climpact functions as both a research contributor and a knowledge hub—advancing academic scholarship on climate litigation impacts while connecting it to action, ensuring research contributes to both theoretical understanding and effective, evidence-based climate governance.
