CLIMPACT team hosts international workshops and conferences on climate litigation. Workshops examine specific analytical and methodological challenges. Conferences bring together scholars working on climate litigation's evolution, strategic patterns, and effects across jurisdictions. These convenings advance collective understanding of litigation's role in climate governance while creating space for critical engagement with Climpact's emerging findings.

A New Landmark? Unpacking the Bonaire Climate Decision

Climpact will officially begin its activities in May 2026. However, in the coming months leading up to the launch, we will organize a series of events as part of the CLIMPACT Workshop & Conference Series – Pre-Launch to engage with major climate litigation developments as they unfold. The first of these pre-launch seminars will focus on the District Court of The Hague's judgment in Greenpeace v. the Netherlands (the Bonaire climate case), to be delivered on 28 January 2026.
